Mission:

Our mission, guided by the Holy Spirit, is to cultivate the seeds of Catholic Faith, honor the presence of God in each life, nurture a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and foster discipleship.

Goals:

The goal is to introduce children and young people to God in a meaningful way, one that gives significance and direction to their lives. We provide a lively and growing faith formation program for children and young parishioners from elementary school to 7th Grade, age from 6 to 16 year old.

Catechetical sessions:

  • Ages: From 6 year old and up
  • Class time: Sunday 9:30-10:50 am
    • Grade 1st: I meet Jesus
    • Grade 2nd: God the Father
    • Grade 3rd: Commandment of Love
      • First Reconcilliation: Commandment of Love
      • First Eucharist: Sacrament of The Eucharist: The Summit of Love
    • Grade 4th: The Church Community
    • Grade 5th: The Sacraments
    • Grade 6th: Encountering Jesus in the Sacraments and Prayer
    • Grade 7th: The Spirit Will Set Us Free
  • First Reconciliation (Confession): For those in 3rd grade and above, in second consecutive year of Faith Formation or Catholic school, and already baptized in the Catholic Faith.
  • First Eucharist (Communion): For those in 3rd grade and above, in second consecutive year of Faith Formation or Catholic School, baptized and having celebrated 1st Reconciliation. Parent/guardian meeting is in January and celebration of First Eucharist is in the Spring.
  • Confirmation: For those in 7th grade, in second consecutive year of Faith Formation or Catholic School, baptized, Reconciliation and Communion.
